It depends on where you work. Most practitioners are self-employed and are free to look any way they want. If you choose to work for someone else, they may ask you to take it out. Some places may be OK with it.

See a gynecologist and if that shows nothing, see a neurologist. I know it may not be a comfortable subject but if your insurance requires you to get referrals for specialists, bring this up with your primary care doctor.
No one here can give you a definitive diagnosis but we might be able to shed some light on the situation itself.
There are a number of gynecological problems that could cause this (problems with your reproductive system in general). However not all of them are terrible and many can be cured or at least treated. If you had a cyst or something for example, it could be causing shifting/pressure on your pelvic nerves. No one can tell you this or anything else without an exam.
If the gynecologist finds nothing, move to the neurologist to determine if you have some sort of nerve condition than is reducing your sensation. Even if it seems localized it could be a more full-body condition that is only showing up for the time being in a localized area. It could also be something as simple as a pinched nerve or bulging disc. These conditions may not cause any pain. Keep that in mind.
I don’t want to scare you and please keep your spirits up. It doesn’t have to be something life threatening or devastating. Remember that. It could be a simple ailment. However the bottom line here is that something isn’t right. These 2 specialist types would be the most well trained iin discovering the cause.
Don’t listen if anyone tries to feed you any “right guy” line. Numbness in any part of you is a condition that leads to only one culprit – nerves. The question now is, “What is causing this nerve problem?”.

In your case i would seek answers fro ma doctor. if you can feel something from your clitoris but not your inner vaginal walls then it might be a problem. but its not about the length of a guy its the width, so if they are not that wide then yeah it might be the guys you have been with. try asking a doctor, they can answer your question a lot better.
